Illustration project for Solid Gold Pet - a manufacturer and a worldwide supplier of natural, holistic pet foods.
The Solid Gold Pet team reached out to me to develop unique cat illustrations to be used across their refreshed wet cat food line packaging. The team wanted bold, colorful look that will distinguish their products from other brands which will allow consumers to easily navigate on shelf.
The client wanted me to create 4 unique cat illustrations as each unique cat breed to differentiate each wet cat food texture line.
As for the illustration style, the client wanted these illustrations to consist of beautiful swirls and cutout shapes to reflect the dynamic movements of cats.
Each illustration needed to have 3-4 Pantone colors with 4-5 variations to represent different proteins.
Therefore, I had to choose the colors carefully so each color variation could be distinguished from each other.
